My Custom Bakes Training Best Practices & How to Upload Photos for Carousel and Gallery

visit mycustombakes.com for our cottage bakery app!

Here's a short tutorial of how to upload images and set up your gallery and carousel on your MCB website. We include some best practices that will help keep your offerings clear for your clients and things that can help reduce your workload.

*One thing I forgot to mention-on the image tab (home base for all of your downloaded images) you can delete unused images.

Overview-
Upload photos under the image tab or under account tab in the gallery/carousel section.
Keep it simple! Your MCB website shouldn't act as your social media pages. Keep only a few photos in your gallery/carousel to give the customer a snap shot of products you offer.

Keep it updated! Rotate out older images. Add seasonal photos when it makes sense.

Only share your own work! Do not use other baker's photos in your shop. (It violates MCB’s T&C to use photos that you are not authorized to use.)
We are aware there are still some time out issues even with the upgraded storage after monetization.

The very few accounts that this is happening to have some things in common:
-125+products in their account
-a high number of carousel (more that 15), gallery (more than 20), and/or product photos (more than 3).
- Continue to reuse products when you can until we get the delete function available, which is something we are actively working to resolve. Keep photos to a minimum in your account until we get the limitations in place for the free accounts.

Questions? Other fun ideas you’ve used these sections? Post them in the comments!
