WWOOFING Experience Gone Wrong + Tips To Avoid Bad Volunteer | Australia

In December 2018 we wwoofed in Australia. WWOOF stands for Willing Workers On Organic Farms or World Wide Opportunities On Organic Farms. We worked in Adelaide, Melbourne & Canberra.

The deal is working on a farm 4-6 hours daily in exchange for food and accommodation.

This is a great way to travel and save money- especially if-like us- you’re on a budget. It’s also a great way to meet locals and experience “the real Aussie lifestyle”.

Like anything else we had a great time with some families and a terrible time with others.

Some families we’re really stingy with food. They told us we are too much and told us we could only eat a quarter of one banana a day so that it lasts for 3 days.

This video is for any traveller or backpacker who is willing to experience something different but we also want to warn you that it is not all gold that glitters.
