This procedure applies to the majority of brake calipers out there regardless of make or model. Even opposing two, four and six pots are all done very similarly. Toyota four pots are the calipers I have rebuilt a few of and some of you have undoubtedly run into a seized piston on your Tundra or Tacoma. Patience and cleanliness is important getting them back together. A few hundred dollars can be saved rebuilding brake calipers, granted you have the time, space and tools to do so.

Now I did have to eat some of the core return cost by holding onto these. The rebuild kits were cheap and I my total cost on these is something like $30-40 each. Considering my local suppliers can't even get these calipers, this was absolutely the best option anyway. Plus I built them, so I know they will last!! LOL
