Let’s explore the evolution of the royal wedding in Europe from the simple church blessing of the middle ages where bride and groom might be laying eyes on each other for the first time to the love matches of today rung in with celebrity packed cathedrals, designer gowns, decadent feasts and parties watched by the eyes of the world.
