The following 6 GoPro (Hero 7) editing tips will make your videos more cinematic:

1. Cinematic Corp
There are 2 ways, how you can get the cinematic look in your GoPro travel videos. The first one is using a PNG file with black bars on the top and on the bottom and the second one is adjusting your sequence settings. The first solution has a little disadvantage if you upload your cinematic GoPro video on youtube and the second one is a little bit more complicated. Nevertheless, those 2 editing tips are still very easy to use!

2. Transitions
GoPro transitions are in my opinion the most fun part to edit and they make your GoPro videos look more cinematic. I usually edit all transitions at the very end after color correcting and grading and that's why I sometimes forget to edit a transition. I show you a very simple way how you will never forget again to finish editing your GoPro transition.

3. Length
The length is an important topic for cinematic GoPro travel videos, because most of the are too long and too boring. But no worries, I show you how you can fix those mistakes in your cinematic GoPro (Hero 7) videos.

4. Slow Motion
Slow Motion is a great way to make your GoPro (Hero 7 and soon Hero 8) videos look more cinematic. I show you 3 ways how you can slow down your GoPro videos. Each method has its pros and cons but they all have in common the basic slow motion calculation which I will also explain you. If you follow this rule then your GoPro (Hero 7) videos will look so cinematic!

5. Color Correction
I quickly show you how I color correct my videos so I can use a lut, which makes my GoPro (Hero 7) videos look more cinematic.

6. Color Grading
After the color correction we can move on with the color grading. I show you a simple way to make your GoPro (Hero 7 and soon Hero 8) videos look cinematic very fast.
