Human Nature vs Animal Nature

From the book "THE GREAT DISCREPANCY" by Boris Kriger
https://boriskriger.com/

The greatest contradiction in being human is that we're born as animals. That is, our humanity isn't something we inherit or that comes to us naturally. At most, we might be predisposed to it, but that's all. It's our social surroundings that shape us into humans. And our civilization, as grand as it might seem, is really just an exaggerated version of the social behaviors we see in animals. We create complex societies, build towering skyscrapers, and develop advanced technology, but at the end of the day, we're still creatures driven by basic instincts and desires, striving for connection and survival in a world that's more complicated than the savannahs and forests we came from. It's a strange dichotomy that speaks to the core of who we are: part animal, part something more, forever caught between two worlds.
