"The Scream" Sotheby's Auction
Edvard Munch is best known as being a Norwegian born, expressionist painter, and printer. "The Scream" is his most well-known painting. The 1895 pastel-on-board version of the painting was sold at Sotheby's for a record US$120 million at auction on 2 May 2012.
