Yars ICBM launched in strategic deterrence forces exercises

Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation oversees training of strategic deterrence forces

◽️ Under the leadership of Russian President Vladimir Putin, ground, sea, and air strategic deterrence forces were trained launching ballistic and cruise missiles

🔹 Russia’s Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu makes a report:

‘Comrade Supreme Commander-in-Chief, in accordance with the training plan, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are having a command and control training under your supervision. The Armed Forces will train to deliver a massive nuclear strike by strategic offensive forces in response to an enemy’s nuclear strike. The training procedure will be reported by the Chief of the General Staff General of the Army Valery Gerasimov’.

🔹 Chief of the General Staff General of the Army Valery Gerasimov makes a report:

‘Comrade Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the following forces are involved in the training: the Yars mobile ground missile system of the Strategic Missile Forces, strategic missile submarine of the Northern Fleet ‘Tula’, and two Tu-95ms strategic bombers‘.
