I'll show you how to cut rafters, frame walls, install siding, and build and frame out the box for the stall. I will use all kinds of hand tools, and power tools such as hammers, saws, skill saw, air nailer, compressor, drill, tape measure, wood working tools. If you learn these basic carpentry skills, you can build just about anything to become self reliant and not have to pay an expensive contractor to build things for you, you can just do it yourself.

In this series we use materials around us to construct a small forest cabin.

We'll use cedar, pine, ash, maple, and whatever else we can scrounge up from the 30 acres around us. The aim is to avoid using as much store bought material as possible and keep the budget reasonably low.
