2021 starts with a bang in New Zealand

Thousands of people were able to gather together to watch celebrations from the Auckland's Sky Tower on Friday morning.

Crowds were allowed to gather in the city to mark the start of 2021 as the nation continued to record a low number of new coronavirus cases.
