On New Year's Eve 2017/2018, a team from BBC TV & Media Operations joined BBC Studios on London’s Embankment to shoot footage of the fireworks in Ultra High Definition (UHD) and High Dynamic Range (HDR), as part of an end-to-end test of workflows for handling and delivering programmes in this new format.
