Spraying Upol Gravitex And Basecoat - Episode 4 - 1987 Volkswagen Caddy MK1 Restoration Project

This Is Episode 4 Of The VW Caddy MK1 Project
In this episode its time to lay down the paint. Before I paint the engine bay I sprayed two coats of Gravitex on the lower portion to help protect against stone chips and corrosion. After the Gravitex was applied I sprayed a coat of Epoxy primer and then two coats of basecoat. Once the basecoat dried two coats of clear lacquer was sprayed which gave it that super gloss look.
