RV Water Damage Repair + Bedroom Reframing
All of the old, rotted framework has been removed, which means that we're FINALLY into the RE-construction phase of the renovation process. In today's video, we assemble and install a new solid framework for the water-damaged bedroom wall and ceiling.
This job may look expensive, however, it actually only cost us $6 for the wood and a few bucks for some screws. While we were shopping for that stuff we stumbled upon some FREE wood at our local home improvement store's lumber scrap bin! It's totally worth checking out!
RENOVATION TIPS:
1. Be sure to pre-drill holes before screwing into softer woods (like the pine 2"x2" we used) to avoid splitting the wood.
2. Get yourself a quick exchange drill bit if you don't already have one. It saves time, battery and headaches when switching between bits.
THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP DAD!!!
We decided to try something new today... different music, more talking, and some new stylistic changes. We'd love to hear what you think!
