A new place to go metal detecting & its good ! 1800s mill site in NH with Fisher F19

Finding new places to metal detect is always a good thing, but its even better when its a good place. This location is right in the area of a 1800s mill community and never been metal detected before. Along the river is a few parcels that have old rock walls and people were doing things there hundreds of years ago. With my Fisher F19 metal detector I went there today to see what is buried in the ground, and to my surprise there is a lot of signal. I dug up some really nice suspenders from the late 1800s as well as some spoons and other. relics. How to find these old places is go out exploring and read the landscape. This is a good spot to metal detect !
