"Magicality" is a colorful, abstract, finger painting for beginners of a rainbow wave effect.

Hi, my name is Laura and I'm a finger painting artist :)
In this finger painting tutorial, I use the full spectrum of colours to create many different and unexpected hues as well as different abstract painting techniques. This is a great painting for beginners at either abstract painting or abstract finger painting, because I show you my basic intuitive approach to colour mixing and matching. When it comes to colour pairings that don't blend so well, in this case yellow and violet, I have to be careful not to mix them too much or this will create muddy colours. Used sparingly however, this can add some interest.

I painted this on a 5x7 inch canvas board using the following Daler Rowney Graduate Acrylic paints, listed in order of application: Emerald, Leaf Green, Coeruleum Blue, Primary Yellow, Titanium White, Permanent Rose, Violet and Ultramarine Blue.
