Laura Delfino removes misconceptions about people with autism, focusing on their right to work. She tells us about SbrisolAut, an example of an enterprise model based on support and inclusion, which provides resources and opportunities to promote the autonomy and employability of people with autism. A psychologist and behavior analyst, Laura started in 2002 at the first Italian farm community for autistic people in Cascina Rossago, and then created an autism nucleus in a residence for people with disabilities in Mantova. She has been the technical referent of Spazio Autismo and in 2022 she founded SbrisolAut, a social impact enterprise created with the support of Spazio Autismo, which produces Sbrisolona, a typical Mantuan cake, made by autistic pastry chefs.
