Amirov helps Russia end Sweden's 54-game group stage winning streak
Maple Leafs prospect Rodion Amirov scored a goal and added two assists to help the Russians take a late lead, but Noel Gunler scored his fourth of the tournament with a minute remaining to force overtime. In the extra frame, Marat Khusnutdinov played hero with the game-winner to lift Russia to top spot in Group B and put an end to Sweden's incredible 54-game preliminary round winning streak.
