RECTANGLE SOFTBOX
Rectangle softboxes are one of the most common softbox shapes there is the market. Because of is shape, it offers a square-ish catchlight in the subject's eyes and also has a clearer edge with the light drop-off compared to round softboxes or octagon softboxes. They are ideal for lighting head to toe. Perfect for shooting models or for fashion eCommerce photography if you're shooting mannequins and the like.
DIFFUSER SHEETS
Diffuser sheets (or scrims) are not really softboxes but they are an affordable lighting modifier for natural light or strobes.You can easily mount it on a c-stand backdrop stand. It helps mimic natural daylight because it offers a wider spread of light in a wider area. Perfect to use in fashion or portrait photography because it offers a less obvious light dropoff and also reduces shadows.
