The New 2021 Range Rover Velar leads the way in progressive design. Clean, elegant, and distinctive, the vehicle has a striking contemporary presence.

The cabin of the Range Rover Velar exudes elegant simplicity. From Configurable Ambient Interior Lighting to the split sliding armrests, as well as the standard power-adjustable steering column and 4-way powered lumbar seats, everything has been designed and crafted to help you and your passengers arrive relaxed.

From crisp, effortless acceleration to fuel economy, every engine that powers the Range Rover Velar has been optimized. The lightweight aluminum 4-cylinder and powerful V6 engines deliver a responsive drive, with the vehicle’s automatic transmission producing rapid shifting along with exhilarating acceleration and performance.

Only all-wheel-drive is offered. Six trims are available: S P250, R-Dynamic S P250, S P340, R-Dynamic S P340, and R-Dynamic HSE P380, and SV Autobiography Dynamic Edition. There are four engines available: A 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that makes 247 horsepower, a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that produces 340 horsepower, a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 that makes 380 horsepower, and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that produces 550 horsepower. All pairs to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The 2020 Range Rover Velar has a base MSRP of $56,300. That’s a higher starting price than many other vehicles in the luxury midsize SUV class. The price climbs to $62,200 for a V6-powered model, and it soars to just over $90,000 for a V8 Velar.

More affordable SUVs in the Land Rover lineup include the Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque, which start at $37,800 and $42,650, respectively.

The new Range Rover is likely to appear in some form officially later in 2020 and go on sale in 2021. A fluctuating economy makes it hard to predict an accurate price at this time, but we expect it to cost from close to $90,000 and go beyond $170,000 for the most expensive long-wheelbase model.
