My thoughts on the Mobile Studio Pro
After listening to the video I shot. I realized that I rambled on a lot and said a whole lot of nothing. Below is a more detailed write up of my experiences with the unit.
What I liked:
1. Screen paralyzing is greatly reduced
2. Resolution is really amazing
3. RGB is amazing feature
4. How well built it was. It is now a full metal body
5. GPU and CPU can now handle photoshop perfectly.
6. Pinch zoom and rotate is amazing
7. Fan noise is greatly reduced
What I didn't like:
1. Battery is still bad
2. Still gets hot
3. Still heavy-ish
4. no bag
5. no stand
6. huge power brick
7. etched glass isn't much different then before
To sum it up. The most important thing is how well it runs your programs. Efficiency is key and the MSP handles that like a champ. The over all enjoyment of drawing is greatly increased when the programs work the way they should. Cintiq compaion 1 owners have the most to gain but there are advantages to companion 2 owners as well. Do I feel it's worth the price of admission? The answer is yes, if you are a professional and make a living off of art. Not so much if you're just doing it for fun. For that, I would get a paper and pencil :P
EDIT: Because a lot of people have been asking about the stand. Here's the link :)

and another one in case that vendor sells out.
