Meet our SuperHeroes – the participants in the XIII Gazprom Neft Cup Kids’ Hockey Tournament! Thirty-one teams, from 10 countries, took part in the tournament this year – making it practically the World Cup for under-11s’ hockey! Players spent a whole week fighting it out for the prestigious trophy! And our crews were right behind them the whole time, recording their victories, their moments of triumph, and their emotions after painful defeats. Sports journalist Daria Mironova managed to tear herself away from the world of professional hockey to take the leading role in filming a documentary about the biggest non-profit youth hockey tournament in the world. Together with Daria we find out where players look for motivation, how even hockey-star parents feel the pain along with everyone else in the stands, and what’s in store for the Gazprom Neft Cup, going forward.
