Join me for ride with Tram No.617, a ČKD Tatra T6 unidirectional high-floor street car manufactured in 1992 by Tatra of the Czech Republic.
Košice transit company was founded in 1891 by Stefan Popper, the first track being a horsedrawn tramway. By 1914, all tracks were electrified and the company was renamed "Kassai villamos közúti vasút" (Slovak '"Košicke elektrické pouličné drahy" and English "Košice electric roads")
