Nanny Wildlife Detective

Some mysterious happenings in the area required detailed investigation by Detective Nanny.
The findings resulted in heightened awareness for us all about living in bear country and the do's and don'ts when the bears come down the mountains in the fall.
Nanny also discovered the vibrant activities that occur in the hours of darkness when we are all sleeping.
Grizzly Bears sense of smell is their greatest way of receiving sensory information, we discovered how they use it not only for sensing food and danger, but for relaxation and entertainment.

This could equally apply to our dogs and cats, and the joy they get from rolling in stinky stuff.
The next time your pet comes home after rolling in something unpleasant to us - remember how pleasant it was for them and maybe that they just needed a "personal aromatherapy retreat".
