Why should you adjust your clutch?
If your clutch is starting to wear and you have excessive movement in the clutch, you’ll need to tighten your clutch. Alternately, if you get “clutch creep,” meaning if you have the clutch pulled all of the way in and the bike is trying to pull its way through, you’ll also need to adjust it. Whether your cable is getting stretched out or your clutch is getting worn, either way, it’s important to keep your clutch in good working order.

Tools needed:
t27 torx with ¼” ratchet
11/16” wrench
9/16” wrench
½” wrench
7/32” allen wrench
Torque wrench

This clutch adjustment was performed on a 2008 Harley-Davidson Street Glide and would be similar for all late model Big Twins.
