Need For Speed Payback - LV399 Lancer Evo 9 Race Spec, Great Accel but disappointing Handling

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX Race Spec Performance review:
Title. It's drifting and overall handling is just weak. The drifting is really heavy and doesn't respond well to braking. It's drift angle is a bit limited and it's overall drifting speed, especially low speeds is weak. Because of how weak it's response to braking, you often need to use handbrake instead to chain drift from 1 corner to the other. Acceleration and NOS power is great but slightly weaker compared to the 3rd best cars, the 918 and Huayra.

Now here is the funny bit... The race spec's handling is just weak and not competitive, BUT. The Runner class spec Evo 9 is a completely different story. The handling in the Runner class Evo 9 is much better with responsive drifting and much higher cornering speed. It's just very strange how good the handling is on the Runner class version where it's supposed to be heavy to take down cops while the Race spec one is just garbage.

I sincerely hope they swap the handling or something, the race spec Evo 9 really needs the Runner spec Evo 9's handling. I may do a runner spec Evo 9 and race spec Evo 9 comparison in the future.

How does it compare with 911 RSR and Regera:
About 4-5 seconds slower than 911 RSR. If only it uses the Runner spec Evo 9's handling. If only.
