Campaigner Argues That Face Masks Infringe Her Human Rights | This Morning

As of today, face coverings are now compulsory in shops - including shopping centres, supermarkets, post offices, banks and takeaway outlets across England, with a fine of £100 for those that don’t comply. Infectious diseases specialist Dr Nathalie MacDermott believes it’s a crucial step in our fight against coronavirus. But, campaigner Leah Butler-Smith - who has arranged anti-mask protests - says she won’t be wearing a face covering as it goes against our human rights. We’ll be speaking to both women about their very different viewpoints, as well as ex-boxer David Haye, who’s on a mission to get young people wearing masks and taking the spread of the virus seriously.
