Driver Threatens To Kill Cyclist After Close Pass. Matter Dealt With At Magistrates Court

Whilst cycling home I was passed very closely(way too close, well inside the minimum 1.5 metre gap stipulated by the Highway Code) by an impatient BMW driver. I instinctively threw an arm in the air in a 'what is that about?' gesture at having been startled.
The driver then remonstrated with me more than once, after which he threatened to effing kill me, calling me a paedophile and a pussy.
The matter was reported to North Wales Police, I generally submit such videos to Operation Snap but this was a criminal matter not a traffic infringement(though technically I wasn't happy that he got away with the close pass).
The driver was fined £120 with £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
Wish I knew what a victim surcharge actually is though because the money was definitely not sent to me! LOL
For information purposes the camera used is a TomTom Bandit, mounted on my handlebar.
