BOOKS | Sizzlers by Nicole Engelbrecht
The Sizzlers massacre was a tragic event that left families of the victims wounded to date. In 2003, ten gay men were brutally attacked by Adam Roy Woest and Trevor nine of them died and one survived.
Author Nicole Engelbrecht's book Sizzlers details what happened on that fateful day. She talks to Quinton Taylor, the sole survivor who was badly wounded, and played a crucial role in identifying the perpetrators of what would go down in history as one of the worst mass murders in South Africa.
