Washington state once in a life time moose hunt 2020

My wife Ashley drew a once in a life time Washington state any antlered moose tag for the 2020 hunting season. The unit was 95% private timber land with a small checkered board of state land intertwined.

We spent July through the end of September making multiple trips across the state to scout and check game cameras. The hunt unit was all non-motorized, hike/bike in only. We outfitted two mountain bikes with trailers to haul our gear. In the process we put over 150 miles on our bikes.

Big "Thank You" to my Parents Tom & Teri for making the trek across the state during this crazy covid year to help with child care and all the other things that went into this once in a life time hunt. And of course, to my beautiful bride for being the best hunting partner on the planet.

Ashley harvested "Hubert" an Awesome Shiras Bull Moose on opening day. Hubert’s paddles were 43” wide and a packaged meat weight of 450 pounds.
