How digitalization transformed agriculture in small villages | Marko Maras | TEDxPodgorica

Going through various life experiences during his early formative ages, Marko searched for himself by studying in different European cities, changing faculties, and studying directions. Switching between economics, international business, art, and audiovisual production, 5 college enrollments later - he found himself living in a small village in South America.

Coming back to Montenegro with a new life perspective, he decided to help small farmers and villagers in Montenegro. Therefore, he created a "first digital village" - an online platform that's helping people from villages to sell their products but also keeps them informed about relevant topics. Marko Maraš is an entrepreneur, the creator of the first Montenegrin digital village, and an "agro influencer".

Lifelong student, the child at heart, volunteer, lover of travel, countryside, and agriculture, innovator, and esotericist. He believes in a better world and does everything in his power to contribute to that goal.

Studied in Switzerland, Serbia, Hungary, and Montenegro. He spent part of his life after his studies as a volunteer in South American countries. After returning to Montenegro, he lived in the countryside, where he saw the problems of the villagers and found a way to solve them. He is currently working on the improvement and modernization of agriculture in Montenegro.
