Retired Green Beret describes the covert details of Task Force Pineapple to Save Afghan Allies

Zac Lois is a retired Army Green Beret Officer with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, the Middle East, and Latin America.

Lois is key member of Task Force Pineapple, a volunteer group of retired U.S. Special Forces veterans and others that came together after the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan to help evacuate American citizens and Afghan allies.

The slow and steady system of maneuvering the Afghan families in the darkness was modeled after the Harriet Tubman's "Underground Railroad" and dubbed the "Pineapple Express".

The clandestine operation continues to this day.
