0x0037 - Sony LiveView: The First Smartwatch

I kinda miss my LiveView, it is a horrible cheap little device. But it was the perfect device to make for when it was released.

I know 2010 isn't exactly "retro" but it's starting to seem like smart watches are on the way out to me and I think its a shame. The current big, bloated, and expensive smart watches are obviously more capable than the liveview. But the liveview was first, smaller, and still pretty good. I think there could be a balance between the two extremes.

I'm obviously nostalgic about the liveview in a way since I took the time to write software for it. The mobile computing market is the only thing that has really changed in the last 8yrs so the liveview does feel quite dated. But I do think this device was clearly built at a price.
