Hi, people. I'm Joan, and my parents abandoned me when I was 13 years old. Now I'm 18, and they want me back into the family. I am completely at a loss, and I want to share my story with you. Maybe you'll help me decide what to do next.
I've got a completely average childhood: definitely not the greatest, but not too bad either. There wasn’t much money in the family, we lived in a tiny house with just a couple of rooms and no backyard. Our neighbourhood was one of those where you could see sheets drying right in the yards and old women rinsing their clothes in the ponds. Typical outskirts of a city, I'd say.
