How to Remove the Speaker from AirTag! - Android Users Beware!

Apple has taken many security protocols and precautions to protect iPhone users from being unknowingly tracked with an AirTag. But are they doing enough? What about non-iPhone users? Apple claims if the AirTag is away from it owner for an extended period of time and then it moves, it will eventually ring, letting non-iphone users know that it's there. But what does "eventually" mean? Plus, the AirTag can not beep if the speaker is removed. Which is actually quite easy to do. Which means it can keep all it's tracking abilities now in “Stealth Mode” since no sound can be made. What can be done to protect people's privacy?
