The running costs of a dishwasher are made of four contributions:
-water consumption
-energy consumption
-detergent consumption
-rinse-aid consumption
All depend on the water used for the rinsing phase.

Fresh water from the mains is used by a dishwasher in each washing cycle to rinse the wares. Green&clean dishwashers use only 3lt for rinsing. Thanks to the reduced water consumption, the rinse aid consumption is also reduced. Thanks to the reduced water consumption, the energy used to warm up the water in the boiler is also reduced.
