This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Paul Greive has gone from All-American Athlete to Marine Officer and War Veteran to creating one of the most successful Sustainable Farms in Southern California -- all before his 30th birthday. In his TEDx talk, Paul describes the importance of constantly operating in an environment where success (and failure) are possible.

Paul Greive is the co-founder of Primal Pastures, a pastured livestock farm located in Temecula, California. A former track and field athlete and a Marine, Paul started Primal Pastures in 2012 with his family, 50 chicks, and no experience. In less than two years, the farm has grown into one of the most prominent sustainable livestock farms in Southern California, providing the region with top quality chicken, eggs, lamb, beef, pork, and honey grown and raised right here.
