7 Terrifying Lucifer's Biblical Celestial Beings And Demons - Backstories Explored

Lucifer is one of the most popular Netflix shows out there, and the series certainly deserves all the hype that surrounds it. Powered by an impeccable script and colorful characters, the show brings you an entirely different perspective of some of the celestial beings as you know them from religious texts and other stories. The series is actually based on a DC comic series, but the adaptation deviates from the comic book source as well. It is the freshness of the narrative and the completely different portrayal of the devil, which glues the viewers to the show. Tom Ellis plays the titular character, and he simply owns the role with his charismatic portrayal.
However, like we said in the beginning, many of the things portrayed in the show are very different from the Biblical stories. From the portrayal of demons to the narrative on Michael, things have been twisted and changed to fit the narrative. But that does seem to work just fine because witnessing a different side of the devil is what adds to the fun factor! Where else would you find a righteous, crime-fighting devil who is more likable than some of the so-called heroes!
