‘Woke warriors’ are ‘distracting from the real issues’

Sky News host Chris Kenny says “woke warriors” are engaging in desperate and hateful actions that merely serves as a means of distracting “from the real issues about racial discrimination and ending indigenous disadvantage”.

Mr Kenny said there has been a push to change the name of an iconic Australian company, Coon Cheese, due to calls of racists connotations.

“Never mind that Coon cheese is named after Edward Coon, the man who came up with the cheese-making process and patented it almost a century ago,” he said.

“Millennial woke morons who know only what they read on Twitter, want the cheese to change its name”.

It comes as the Colonial Brewing company is also being targeted by the cancel culture movement, which is also allegedly being construed as potentially racist.

While statues of important historical figures have been vandalised or destroyed in the past days due to potential racial connotations.

“This stuff is evil, the social media pile-ons are nuts, appealing to only the silliest of people, but too often corporate marketing types, advertising agencies and the media run scared from it”.
