More, More, More Exhibition Preview

🎵🌱 We are very excited to announce our upcoming exhibition: More, More, More. 🌱🎵

More, More, More is an exhibition of works by artists who scatter seeds of expression- - - - , and embrace dissemination, untranslatability, and the exteriority of writing as an intrinsic dimension of communication.

Works in this exhibition leak, drip, sprout, repeat:, require translation, stain, secrete; utter, stutter, reflect, and glow, “wet everything," and wiggle. These are projects that grow, in different ways, from questions that, in earlier incarnations, were directed to feeling and form.
Grouping these works together has also encouraged the growth of the exhibition structure, so we’ve decided to cultivate it like a garden. There will be no opening ceremony, and the show will unfold in different phrases starting in the summer, throughout the fall, and into the following year.

We hope you- the listeners- are encouraged by what you have just read. In order to accommodate works that reject the logic of medium specificity arguments, or the “fine arts,” More, More, More encourages our guests to take pleasure in finding patterns amongst ambiguity, to grip what you can, and to intimately link speech acts to the bodies of language_users.

More, More, More is curated by Passing Fancy [X Zhu-Nowell & Frederick Cruz Nowell], with Elise Armani and organized by TANK Shanghai. It includes new commissions and existing works by 2⃣️8⃣️ international artists.

Starting on 4️⃣🗝2️⃣9️⃣🗝2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ #moremoremore artists Ad Minoliti, Jenna Sutela, Cecilia Bengolea, Tan Jing, Dora Budor, Hao Liang, Zhao Yao, Pamela Rosenkranz, Mountain River Jump! (and many more to be announced!) will take over TANK’s Instagram account for a day, and will share some current and past projects, work in process, reflections, inspirations, and a bit of their studio life in the shared COVID climate.
