Meat Grinder Restoration

I found this meat grinder at an antique shop and knew right away that it would be a fun restoration project. There definitely was a bunch of rust, but I think the factory tin plating kept a lot of the rust at bay over the decades. The most challenging part of this restoration was trying to get all the rust out of the inside of the grinder, but with a little time I managed to clean it out. This was my first time using linseed oil and was very pleased with how it turned out. I'm definitely going to use it in other projects. For paint I went with enamel because I thought it would last longer over time, and used acrylic paint for the lettering. I couldn't be happier with how it tuned out and hope you liked it as well.
