Why we don't want warm season grasses covering more than 20% of our farm.
Why we don't want warm season grasses covering more than 20% of our farm. Warm season grasses make excellent forages for summer grazing; however, they do not provide quality stockpile for winter grazing conditions. It's hard to beat a good stand of fescue grass for winter stockpile grazing. For a Christmas gift to your significant other, check out my new book " How To Think Like A Grazier" on our website: http://greenpasturesfarm.net/books/
