Scope & Content: This video recording consists of several public service announcements promoting forest fire prevention. "Force of habit" depicts a birthday party for Smokey Bear in which a blindfolded Smokey smells the smoke from his birthday candles and smashes his cake with a shovel. "Rappin' Smokey" depicts Smokey in hip-hop regalia rapping about fire safety, then stopping, discarding his outfit, and stating the traditional slogan: "Only you can prevent forest fires."

Use Restriction: The use and reproduction of the Smokey Bear symbol is restricted by Public Law 82-359, as amended by P.L. 93-318, Title 18 U.S.C. 711, and 36 CFR 271.
