Race at Cowes, Isle of Wight August 25th 2019.
Full 20 minute race. E Class
E Class boats are the Flagship Evolution class. With engines up to 60cc.
Boat length typical 145cm. Weight about 13Kgm.
Radio controlled from the shore by the pilot, and an assistant spotter who advises obstacle, recovery boat and conditions (waves etc).
The course it marked by buoys, and has a timing gantry.
If a turn buoy is missed, the boat must circle it.
Boats must slow down and avoid the recovery boat.
Recovered boats can continue the race from the shore launch area.
