Eli Update: New Hides and Adjustments

Eli was given new PVC elbow joint hides on Friday, and Saturday, he was still not using them, but hiding directly on the substrate under his plants, or basking on his log in the back left corner. But Sunday morning, I finally found him in his warm hide! He figured it out!

So if you are switching hides, going up a size, give your snake some time to get used to them! Don't give up right away! And it's helpful to have a hide on the warm side and cool side, both the same item, because they can prefer one to the other, and then not regulate their temperature like they should!
