Does the Lacie 5TB External Hard Drive Work with iPad?

In this video I unbox and setup the Lacie 5TB external hard drive. Contrary to my statement at the beginning of the video, this is NOT a solid state drive. Instead it is a traditional spinning disk hard drive.
