How to kill the CARION MK VII Boss: Last Day On Earth Survival | LDOE★Tips

❖ Boss fight(normal)
Once you entered the boss room and stepped close enough to the Carrion MK VII, an electrical zap will appear out of the middle console, activating the boss and starting the fight. Consider that the fight pattern is different in Hard Mode!

❖ Attacks
The Carrion MK VII has three different kind of attacks. Two of them are basic hits which will deal either 60 or 100 damage. Its special attack is a heavy strike that works like a Screamer: If you are in range of the attack, you will get 100 damage and be stunned for a brief period.

❖ Healing
At an unknown condition the boss runs towards the middle console, charging up for a couple seconds and regenerating about 120 HP. During this period his armour is increased, so shooting is not recommended.

❖ Electricity
Throughout the entire fight, electrical zaps will appear in certain patterns, forming brief barriers of lighting like the trap in Sector A2. Crossing the lightning causes 60 damage plus the electrified status effect which increases your incoming damage.

Once the boss reaches about 75%, 50% and 25% of its health he will walk to a nearby electrical coil, breaking it and there disabling one of the electrical barriers. During this process he has increased armour, so shooting is not recommeded.

❖ Tactic
To fight this boss effectly it is important to avoid the lighting at any cost since it considerably increases your incoming damage and stuns you briefly. Weapons of choice are weapons with either great range(like VSS Vintorez) and/or high DPS(like FN Scar). Try to get his health down quickly below at least 50% cause that will force him to break two of the electrical coils, reducing the possible lighting barriers and giving you more room to use safely. Don't shoot at him while he heals or breaks a coil due his temporarily increased armour.
