During our ground coverage of Maharashtra assembly elections, Team Lallantop reached Gadchiroli district. It's a naxal-affected area. Majority of the population here are of tribals. The district has three Assembly constituencies - Gadchiroli, Armori and Aheri. Gadchiroli was once a part of Chandrapur district. The district in Vidarbha region is situated in the south-eastern corner of Maharashtra. A major part of the district still lacks in basic amenities. Here, Team Lallantop talked to truck drivers about their life and struggles. They also talked about the new traffic rules.

Voting for the 288-aasembly seats of Maharashtra will be held on October 21. Counting of the votes will be done on October 24. Final results of the Maharashtra vidhansabha will be declared on October 24. The incumbent Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis is from the Vidarbha region.
