As many already know, I am down to one truck now after a mechanic turned the Pete into a runaway diesel. By him not stopping it either, the engine seized turning her into a paperweight...
The Mack has been at Nextran all month, but should be done this coming week. Took them a couple weeks just to diagnose it because they are short staffed. Turns out I was right in diagnosing that it did have a bad fuel injector. They did what they call a "major tune up" on it, replaced the exhaust pipes and is now waiting for the injector to arrive. This supply chain issue is crazy and has slowed down parts delivery nationwide. Normally, it would have been in stock in their parts room, but has to be sent from out of state.
