Bomb Shelter in a Church (3 August 2022)

Kyiv and the surrounding regions still experience Russian missile attacks, many of which strike residential buildings, civilian infrastructure such as schools and shopping centres.

In this video, Vadim Preobrazhenskiy walks you round the bomb shelter situated in Philadelphia Church. In this shelter, people lived, slept and held church services for over two months.

Though the support of many international partners, the church was able to provide mattresses, bedding, food, and Bibles for all those sheltering there.

The shelter is still in use when there is a danger and air raid siren is activated.
