BEHOLD, THE BRIDEGROOM COMES

'THY BRIDAL CHAMBER' and 'BEHOLD, THE BRIDEGROOM COMES' are hymns sung at Matins on the first three days of Holy Week in the Orthodox Tradition. Because of these hymns and other references in the service to the Parable of the Bridegroom, this Matins has become known as 'Bridegroom Matins'.
